Chu Tao is 'how to generally be a monarch', i.e. the art of ruling. Just about every school of philosophy has its tao, its doctrine of the way in which during which existence needs to be purchased. Ultimately in a selected school of philosophy whose followers arrived for being known as Taoists, tao meant 'the way in which the universe is effective'
